How Absorption Chillers Work

  2. Absorption – The absorbent captures vapor, creating a cooling effect as water evaporates.
  3. Evaporation – Water evaporates under a vacuum, absorbing heat and producing chilled water.
  4. Condensation – The refrigerant vapor is cooled and returned to liquid form to continue the cycle.
