How Absorption Chillers Work
Absorption chillers use a thermodynamic cycle involving four key processes:

- Absorption – The absorbent captures vapor, creating a cooling effect as water evaporates.
- Evaporation – Water evaporates under a vacuum, absorbing heat and producing chilled water.
- Condensation – The refrigerant vapor is cooled and returned to liquid form to continue the cycle.
